Descripción de Comida Etíope
This 14-day Ethiopia Wildlife and Photography tour begins with arrival in Addis Ababa (Day 1) and a visit to the vibrant local markets. Day 2 involves driving north to Debre Birhan, capturing endemic birds (Blue-winged Goose) on the Sululta Plain, photographing large raptors (Lammergeier, Vultures) at Debre Libanos, and tracking down the endemic Gelada monkeys. Day 3 descends into the Rift Valley, focusing on waterbirds at Lakes Cheleleka and Koka before reaching Lake Langano. Day 4 is spent exploring Lake Langano for terrestrial birds and visiting Abiata-Shalla National Park to photograph mass gatherings of Flamingos and shorebirds. Days 5 and 6 shift to the high-altitude alpine world of Bale Mountains National Park, driving to Goba and dedicating a full day to photographing the extremely rare and Endangered Simien Wolf, along with endemic mammals (Mountain Nyala) and highland birds. Day 7 offers a choice: a return to the Bale Plateau or an excursion to the dry scrub birds and the natural wonder of the Sof Omar Caves. Days 8 and 9 return to the Rift Valley at Lake Hawassa, considered the single best spot for bird diversity, providing incredible photographic opportunities for storks (Marabou, Saddle-billed), Goliath Herons, and Guereza Colobus Monkeys. Day 10 involves final Rift Valley birding before heading to the drier environment of Awash National Park. Days 11 and 12 are spent searching the wilderness of Awash and Alidege National Parks for unique dryland mammals like the Beisa Oryx and Gerenuk, along with bustards and Somali Ostrich. The tour concludes with the return drive to Addis Ababa (Day 13) and final departure (Day 14).
